Tips for an effective Biceps exercise?

Do Curls with a weight that you can control. This applies to all muscle groups especially small muscle groups such as the biceps. Using a weight that is too heavy for your ability will cause the body to use other muscle groups involved in the Curl movement including the forearms, front shoulders, shoulder blades, and most typically the forward thrust (Lumbar Extension) just to work the biceps. Remember that the Biceps are a small muscle group, to achieve maximum stimulation without causing injury, use a weight that you can control.

Add Hammer Curls to your training program. Why? Hammer Curls or any Curls exercise with a neutral hand position will help activate the Bicep Brachialis muscle fibers - the small muscle fibers that connect the Biceps and the Forearms. If the brachial muscle fibers are developed, they will create thickness and fullness for the biceps.

There should be stretching and strengthening exercises that go along with the limitation of the body's movement. Typical exercises include Incline Curls or Spider Curls. The advantage of these exercises is that you will not be able to use other muscle groups for support and at the same time, when at the lower amplitude, the forearm muscles will be in a completely straight state.

Use more machines: To build a large and strong Biceps muscle group, we usually apply exercises such as Close-Grip Bench Presses, Skullcrushers, and Standing Curls, etc. Therefore, many people only practice with these "old-school" exercises and completely ignore and do not believe in using machines to practice. In fact, exercise machines were born decades ago and the invention of exercise machines will help practitioners improve ROM as well as help focus on the targeted muscle area.

Using a machine, the lever structure and fixed ROM of the machine will help you perform exercises with higher weights than doing dumbbell exercises. An effective biceps workout needs to be made up of exercises with different movements. You need to use more machines to stimulate the muscle group in a more diverse way.

Using a Preacher Machine will create more benefits than using a barbell or dumbbell to perform the Preacher Curls exercise because the machine will help the practitioner have a fixed ROM and perform the exercise more easily with the use of the machine. This is even more convenient and wonderful when you perform Dropsets in the last exercises of your workout.

Applying Supersets to maximize development: Using Supersets for biceps and triceps exercises has now become a popular method for attacking these two muscle groups. Performing Supersets continuously and regularly will help stimulate blood circulation to the upper arm area and improve strength when pushing weights.
